Albertson sale for April 8 - 14

So I finally went shopping tonight. Like I said in my last post this sale was a little complicated so I printed out Albertsons printable shopping list along with the products that are included in the rebate and sat down to work. First I went through my reciepts from the last week to see if I had any products included in the rebate and found that I had $8.00 towards the $40! Then I went through the lists and wrote the things down that I needed and matched them up with any coupons I had until I got to $40.00 then I went through the Kraft items included in the sale to get to $50. Then with list and coupons in hand I headed to Albertsons! Once there i stuck to my list (mostly) and had a pretty quick shopping trip! Originally I was going to get a $20 turkey or ham but as I was shopping I decided that my family will never need or eat that big of either so I decided to get a Turkey breast to use on the rebate and then some ground beef because we needed it anyway! If I had a clear head I would have realized I should have broke it into 2 transactions to use my 5% coolrewards on the first (they expire on Sunday) and then used the 10% catalina that printed off after I bought $25! Any way! This is what I did!

3.5 lbs of ground beef for a total of $9.14 (for the $10 free meat)

I also found batteries on clearance for $1.99 a pack

Total out of pocket- $44.13 Total Saved- $68.95
Plus I can send the $11.64 in for a rebate and I got 2 - 10% off catalinas!
