I stopped by Grocery Outlet yesterday to get some bread (which they were out of) and found this great deal! They had Apt. 9 capris (from Kohls regularly $40.00) for $12.99! Albertsons sale for April 22-28

If you want to make your shopping trip as short and easy as possible then you need to plan! Last night I sat down with my shrinkable, printable shopping list from PYP and made my plan. I decided what I wanted to buy and how many and marked it on the list, then I found all of the corresponding coupons and catalinas and I was ready to go!

This morning I went to the store and was home in less then 30 mins! I spent $23.52, got 2 movie tickets and earned $.20 off per gallon! I love Albertsons!

I am excited about this weeks sale! I tried to go shopping with my kids today, boy was that a mistake! I didn't go to my usual store and they were out of a lot of the things I wanted so I did one promo. Meridian Bowling Lanes Deals!

Many of you who know me know that I love bowling! I may not be very good at it, but I love it!! One of the things I love about it is that it is a sport for all ages and abilities! My husband and our 3 yr old go at least 1 time a week to Meridian Lanes and I have seen kids from 2 yrs old to this cute little older couple that is there almost every time we go. She has to walk with a walker, but she is out there bowling! The reason that I tell you this is because I want to tell you about a great deal that they have every week that I think everyone could use!

If you are wondering why I have not posted anything about my Albertsons shopping trip it's because I am waiting till Monday! There will be Double Coupons in this Sundays paper so I have been waiting to go shop. It has been really hard but it will be worth it when I get my daughters favorite Life cereal for super cheap!! So don't forget to look for your double coupons on Sunday and don't be afraid to ask family and friends if you can have theirs if they aren't using them!!

Albertson sale for April 8 - 14

So I finally went shopping tonight. Like I said in my last post this sale was a little complicated so I printed out Albertsons printable shopping list along with the products that are included in the rebate and sat down to work. First I went through my reciepts from the last week to see if I had any products included in the rebate and found that I had $8.00 towards the $40! Then I went through the lists and wrote the things down that I needed and matched them up with any coupons I had until I got to $40.00 then I went through the Kraft items included in the sale to get to $50. Then with list and coupons in hand I headed to Albertsons! Once there i stuck to my list (mostly) and had a pretty quick shopping trip! Originally I was going to get a $20 turkey or ham but as I was shopping I decided that my family will never need or eat that big of either so I decided to get a Turkey breast to use on the rebate and then some ground beef because we needed it anyway! If I had a clear head I would have realized I should have broke it into 2 transactions to use my 5% coolrewards on the first (they expire on Sunday) and then used the 10% catalina that printed off after I bought $25! Any way! This is what I did!

Since I have been a little fuzzy in the brain the last few days I have not even tried to put together my plan. Tonight I have been checking out the shopping list, reading the posts on Pinching your pennies, and check a bunch of other blogs. It is all so complicated!!! Discount queens has a good brake down so just go here to read it. I am hoping I will feel up to going tonight or tomorrow to try it out, I will post how I do ASAP!

Also for the rebate you can get the $40 on more then one transaction dated from 4/1 thru 4/30 so I'm going to look over my old receipts to check for any of the participating products, that way I am not buying more things I don't need just to reach the $40!
