Ok....I'm back for my trip!! I wanted to tell you guys about a great local event to mark on your calenders. This Wednesday, July 1 at the Idaho Center, will be the 43rd annual God and Country Family Festival. This is a great FREE family friendly way to spend time together while celebrating this wonderful country that we are blessed to live in. We go every year! There is great music performed by local and nationally known artists, lots of great activities for the kids and the evening end with an amazing fireworks display set to wonderful music. Gates open at 5:00 and the performances start at 6:00. We usually just take a bunch of blankets (last year they would not let you bring in chairs) and some card games and sit on the grass enjoying the music and our family while we wait for the fireworks.
